March 1st 2020 Shine’s Supporting Newborns
Spina bifida/hydrocephalus within a baby is diagnosed when the prospective mother attends a routine ultrasound scan. Shine’s details are given to parents giving them the opportunity to contact our trained staff, who can help with both practical and emotional support
February 2020 - Race For Carers
The funds raised from this event will support the many people that are voluntary carers for those living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. These include parents, grandparents, family members and dedicated friends.

Take part and help Shine raise awareness of the condition and funds which will help us continue to support more than 11,000 people living with or affected by the condition across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Shine is dedicated to supporting babies, children and adults living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus – two disabilities which require a very special kind of care and support.
