Carers also form an important network of support from within the family and through links with friends, neighbours and the wider community. The effects of the global pandemic have left many parents and carers feeling isolated and alone.
Shine’s specialist team offer advice and support, guiding parents and carers through myriad statutory services and information to the help they need. Our advisers also provide support groups and training to carers, so that they feel well-equipped and less alone.
Lack of access to health and care services for those they care for, due to the pandemic, has been hugely detrimental to parents and carers. Your donation would enable us to continue helping these individuals and families in supporting and advocating for their loved ones.
